Movie Review “Prom Night”
Prom Night Review
Prom Night was about a man who became obsessed with a student of his named Donna. One night when she went out with her friend, she came home to figure out that he had killed her father, her brother, and he was on his way to kill her mother. When Donna had walked upstairs she returned a bat to her brother. When she went into his room he didn’t respond. She flipped him over and discovered that he had been stabbed in the chest. She was so scared when she heard a man arguing with her mom. She quickly hid under the bed and it was her old teacher. He was yelling at her mother, “Where is she? I know that she is here!” Her mother responded, “I don’t know where she is! She’s not here!” The killer slammed her mom to the ground and she just happened to see Donna before he stabbed her. The killer stabbed her 4 times in the stomach. Donna was devastated.
3 years later Donna had to move in with her aunt and uncle. After the incident Donna was having anxiety attacks and was seeing a therapist. For a while she was ok, but she kept having dreams and thoughts of the man. A couple days before her prom night he escaped from jail, the detective agency was informed and they were very concerned. Donna’s prom night was at a gorgeous hotel and the killer had checked in there. No one recognized him because he had shaved his head and all the hair off his face. He kept a close watch on Donna and ordered a room that was 3 doors down from hers. He killed 2 of her friends at the hotel and he almost killed her. Her friend was the only one who recognized him after reminiscing and remembering his face. When the police and the detectives started to search the hotel they found lots of dead bodies around and immediately escorted Donna and her boyfriend home.
The killer followed them and he waited in Donna’s house. Donna went to sleep in her bed, with her boyfriend, and was still scared. The head detective talked to her aunt and uncle. Donna was still feeling overwhelmed and went to her bathroom to take an anxiety pill. She heard a creeping noise and saw a shadow as she left the bathroom so she slowly slipped into her closet. Little did she know, the killer was in the closet right behind her. The person creeping in her room was really the detective checking on her. When she saw that it was the detective she started to walk out the closet but then the killer quickly grabbed her by the mouth. She quickly bit him and ran out of the closet.
