My Favorite Arthur Ashe quotes:
- A wises person decides slowly but abides by these decisions.
- Clothes and manners do not make the man, but where he is made they greatly improve his appearance.
- I don’t care who you are, you’re going to choke in certain matches. You get to a point where your legs don’t move and you can’t take a deep breath. You start to hit the ball about a yard wide, instead of inches.
- One important key to success is self-confidence.
- Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.

Friday night was the semi-formal. It was awesome! Every one looked so beautiful and we had so much fun dancing! The King was Brandon L.* and the Queen was Aaliyah D.*. The prince was Brendan M. and Carly C. We danced all night and we took pictures. It was a night to remember! I will always remember that night and I loved it.

The most memorable thing in L.A. this year was when Mrs.Albanese played her i-pod for us every friday, and she had music that was modern and that really suprised me. She played songs like Alicia Keys and Beyonce. It was really funny to hear her sing along with the songs.

Tomorrow night is the semi formal. I’m so excited. Almost every one is going and its going to be on and poppin when it starts getting hype in there. The theme is under the sea and its really going to be awesome. You have to dress up and we get to take pictures. It’s like a “mini” prom! We have a prince and princess also.

I am in love….with a guitar named Angie. I got her for Christmas 2 years ago and she is the love of my life. I’m still learning how to play her but she is one of my most prized possessions.

Ronalda or Nada, as she was known, departed life on May 3, 2008. She was one of my favorite cousins and I will always remember her. She was so witty and funny that she was always the life of the party. She had 2 sons, 13 and 9, and a daughter, 8. She was trying to cross an intersection when a car hit her from the back causing her to hit the car in front of her and she spun and flipped several times. She was only 29 years old. She was a great cook and she was very loved by everyone. I was very close to her because she always baby sat me when I was younger and we had a close bond. It just seemed so unreal because everyone had just spoken to her before she left. It seemed like she made her rounds to everyone to say her goodbyes.
I just want to say that I will always love her and she will always have a place in my heart. She will never be forgotten and she will live on in our hearts.

I have a lot of personal accomplishments and memories. Some of my favorite memories were: the semi-formal of ’07 and the band trip to 6 flags of ’07. We had so much fun at the semi. Every one looked so dainty in their dressy clothes and we just danced the night away. The 6 flags trip was awesome too. Jabri, Lydia, Jessi, L.T., Darrin, Natasha, and I, hung out the whole time and we had a blast!
Some of my personal accomplishments were: Getting into the National Junior Honor Society, getting accepted into STHS., getting all A’s on the 5th marking period and keeping good and decent grades. Being accepted into the honor society was one of my most proud moments in my life. Honor Society is a wonderful opportunity and it really looks good on a résumé. Keeping the good grades wasn’t hard but I’m glad that I did. I usually get three A’s and one B, but in the 5th marking period of this year, I had all A’s! I was very proud of myself. It is hard for me to keep all A’s.

Dear Jessi,
I know that we haven’t had much time to spend with each other this year but you are still my best friend. When I met you on that first day of fourth grade, I knew that we would be good friends for a long time. Your funny ways always keep me smiling and I’m so happy when I’m around you. Your witty personality is so comical and you should really go professional, LOL.
I was so bummed when I found out that we didn’t have any classes together but that still didn’t stop us from being BFF’s. You are the flame to my fire, the sugar to my cool aid, the rock to my roll and my friend till the end. I love you so much that you’re like my older sister, except for the fact that we never fight. You and I have such a weird friendship that no one can understand us. Love You Lots .

The person I admire is my grandmother. She really helps m a lot and keeps me on track. She’s always there when I need her and comes through. She really spoils me and buys me EVERYTHING. My cell phone is so incredible. She’s really like my mom.
My grandmother is a clean-aholic. She’s always making my sister and I do the laundry or asking someone to do the dishes, but she will always give me something in return. She’s my role model and I don’t know where I would be without her. She’s the fuel to my fire and I love her with all my heart

Tomorrow I’m going to Six Flags in Maryland. The bands at my school is playing there for a festival and I can’t wait! I’m so excited and it’s like I’ve never been there before. Some of my best friends are going and it’s going to be really fun. Natasha, Lydia, Jessi, and I decided to wear sunglasses with hats to “stand out” and start something new. I really can’t wait for this trip and I know that it will be so fun!
